Emmanuel Danielson is an American Composer who creates works for varying styles of classical, tango, and contemporary works. Emmanuel has performed for several small venues for a large array of people. He performed his classically inspired solo guitar composition, “Man with No Name”, for the Consulate of Mexico during the 2011 “Young Talented Musicians Concert”. His tango inspired piece, “Tango Hambre”, for guitar solo, was premiered at a Milonga for Tango dancers in the fall of 2014.

In a private Venue concert in the spring of 2012, held by the Santa Cruz Foundation for the Performing Arts, he had premiered some of his piano works which were entitled “The Gloomy Waltz” and “My Forest” for solo piano. He has also made music for several family members, from lullabies  to sonatas.

Emmanuel Danielson has been composing a growing repertoire of original works in his own unique style and approach to composition, using various techniques he has learned over the years. He has attended the University of Arizona under the guidance of Professor Daniel Asia, and the University of Florida under Dr. James Paul Sain, Dr. Richard Pellegrin, Dr. Paul Koonce and Dr. Paul Richards.  During his years in University, he has also composed sundry art songs for various collaborations with fellow musicians and music lovers. Emmanuel loves to create illustrative pieces that tell a story, using motivic figures to paint a picture. He composed Desert Landscape in the Fall of 2018, a pictoral work that was inspired by the beautiful desert Emmanuel grew up in, the place he calls home to this day.

In 2019, Emmanuel partook in the New Music Ensemble, led by Diogo Carvahlo, performing various contemporary compositions from his colleagues and other contemporary musicians.  In the same year, Emmanuel composed his Thesis work, The Archangel and the Dragon.  His piece is a 7-movement work depicting selected scenes that happen in the book of Revelations.  His work was performed by various musicians conducted by Dr. Archie Birkner, University of Florida.

Today, Emmanuel is a freelance composer, music transcriber, arranger, and teacher, helping music lovers achieve their goals of having their own music to be written down and performed for others to hear and experience.  Over time, Mr. Danielson has matured with the goal of becoming a well accomplished composer among his peers, writing music for both the old and new generations of musicians and his cherished audience members.
